Elizabeth Stage is the Director of the Lawrence Hall of Science (LHS) at the University of California, Berkeley. LHS is a regional public science center as well as a renowned research institution for the development of math and science curriculum and professional development opportunities. In addition to her career at LHS, Dr. Stage has worked at the National Research Council developing science education standards and the University of California Office of the President coordinating professional development in mathematics, science, and health. Elizabeth was the founding chair of the Coalition’s Steering Committee from 2004-2006 and continues as a member.
